Inside the Mind of a Meditator

Within the mind of a meditator...each meditation session yields the same result - an awareness of their thoughts that gives them a new perspective on everything they’re dealing with.

Silence… and a whole lot of “what ifs,” “what could've,” and if I reacted the wrong way, but that's the brain on meditation.

Meditation is the epitome of balance, inner peace, and mindfulness, guiding the way we handle stressful situations and deal with the highs and lows of everyday life.

Close your eyes and breath. Take deep breaths and exhale. Quiet your mind, taking a few seconds to let each thought take its course and let it go - until your mind is completely silent and all of your worries and your fears melt away, and you feel the calming relaxation of being one with yourself. Meditation is something that helps overthinkers have a way to relax and not worry about the ifs, ands, and buts of the day. It is the way one can go from overthinking to thinking consciously, positively, and clearly.

Meditating is a way to have a calm, peaceful mind, eliminating the harsh thoughts that invade our peace. Being in a tranquil state, not saying anything, but bringing awareness to what we are thinking is a way to help us process what truly goes on in our day-to-day lives. We leave so many things unsaid, and instead we think about and internalize these thoughts throughout the day. With meditating, you get to really know yourself and learn how your mind works.

The mind is the most powerful and most complex organ in the human body and if we don’t have any control over our thoughts, we won’t have any control over our lives. Meditation is the key to a stress free life. It is, if anything, a way to combat today’s challenges and difficulties, bringing ourselves closer to being at the epicenter of peacefulness.

Thinking, thinking, and more thinking, but having awareness of the way you think?

Now that’s meditation.

There is no right or wrong way to meditate. Every person who does meditation has their own way of meditating and different steps that they go through. I search for guided meditation on YouTube and practice every day. When practicing meditation, so many things can be seen in a new light and handled in a different way. All things considered, meditation is something that you can depend on to keep you at a place where you can still live your everyday life without the hassle of an overactive mind.

Within the mind of a meditator, meditation is a part of their daily routine, with each meditation session yielding the same result - an awareness of their thoughts that gives them a new perspective on everything they’re dealing with.
