Consulting Service Specialist
E'laine is an experienced community organizer, cultural worker, and organizational strategist whose work is rooted in the belief that healing is cultural, ancestral, and community-led.
She previously served as Director of RVA Thrives and has returned to serve as a Consulting Service Specialist with VACV's Community Voice Blueprint — supporting partners through training, consulting, and coaching on the Blueprint model, as well as grant management, research, and data analysis.
E'laine holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and is currently completing dual Master's degrees in Divinity and Public Theology at Union Presbyterian Seminary. She is committed to weaving together over 15 years of on-the-ground experience with academic knowledge and healing justice — so that healing is not just personal, but political, cultural, and free.
Her deepest intention is to ensure that Black and brown communities have access to resources that embody liberation — not just services.
